KommuneKredit expects to issue approximately DKK 30bn (EUR 4bn) of long-term funding with maturities above one year in 2020. The funding budget is in line with the funding volumes raised in 2019.

Today KommuneKredit issued green bonds in the amount of EUR 500 million with a term to maturity of 20 years. It is the third time that the credit association issues green bonds. KommuneKredit has approved approx. DKK 20 billion in green loans to sustainable projects in Danish local communities. The bonds are purchased by investors from all over the world.
In September 2019, ISS ESG upgraded KommuneKredit’s ESG rating from D+ to C. This means that KommuneKredit now belongs to the ESG Prime category of companies (best-in-class approach) within its industry at ISS ESG.
KommuneKredit announces Interim Report 2019
On 20 August 2019, KommuneKredit launched a new 11-year EUR benchmark transaction. The mandate for the new issue was announced in the market on Monday 19 August in conjunction with a switch and tender offer in KommuneKredit’s EUR 1.25bn 0.25% bonds maturing in October 2020.
Rating agency Standard & Poor’s has today upgraded KommuneKredit’s long-term credit rating to AAA (outlook stable). Standard & Poor’s has maintained the short-term credit rating at the highest level, A-1+.

On 12 March 2019, KommuneKredit launched a new USD benchmark transaction. The mandate for the new issue was announced in the market on Monday 11 March in conjunction with a switch and tender offer in two of KommuneKredit’s existing USD bonds maturing in August 2019 and January 2020 respectively.
